Craig County Public Schools’ “Load the Bus” event at Food Country was a huge success, according to organizers, thanks to the generosity and support of the Craig County community. The event collected nearly $500 in monetary donations, along with a large amount of school supplies and other items to benefit local students.
The donations will help ensure Craig County students have the supplies and resources they need as they prepare for a successful school year. Craig County Public Schools expressed its appreciation to Food Country, everyone who donated or helped with the event, and the community for coming together to support local students.
The school system said the community’s generosity demonstrates the continued commitment to helping Craig County students succeed in the classroom and throughout the school year.
