Each year Craig Valley Baptist Church, located at 171 Salem Avenue in New Castle (next to Bibo’s restaurant) holds a coat drive for new or gently used coats and sweaters for our winter giveaway. The public is invited to donate your gently used outer coats, sweaters, gloves and hats – (no other clothing please – other items can go to the Clothes Closet at Cornerstone Church). Children’s items are especially appreciated, organizers said.
The church office is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to receive your donations from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Children’s and Adult coats are needed.
The giveaway of these items to community members will be on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m.– 1 p.m. at the church.
