Craig County Public Schools is inviting nominations for its Superintendent’s Advisory Council, an initiative designed to foster open communication and provide input on division-wide decisions. Dr. Jason Wheeler joined the division in July as superintendent.
The council will include two community members, two parents of students in PreK-12, two students in grades 9-12, and two teachers or staff members. Members will share perspectives, represent their peer groups, and contribute to ongoing improvements within the school division.
The council is scheduled to meet from 4 to 5 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month at the school board office.
All nominations are confidential, and individuals may nominate themselves or others. Selected members will be chosen randomly and contacted individually.
Nominations are being accepted online through Aug. 22.
