
The All-Pioneer District teams have been announced and Craig County is represented in baseball, softball and soccer.
In baseball Craig County senior Jaycob Wolfe has been named to the second team as an outfielder. Honorable Mention goes to Rockets Luke Potter and Hunter Sowers, who are both juniors.
Braedyn Houck of Parry McCluer was named Pioneer District Baseball Player of the Year. Hunter Owens of Narrows is the Pitcher of the Year and Chris Helvey of Narrows is the Coach of the Year.
In softball Craig County junior Jenna Boitnotte was named to the All-Pioneer District first team at Flex/Designated Player. Second team honors go to senior Nevaeh Hypes at pitcher, juniors Kallie Fisher in the outfield and Aleah Owens at Flex/DP and sophomore Annalese Zimmerman at pitcher. Ashlyn Keen, a senior, garnered Honorable Mention.
In soccer Craig had two first team all-district selections, senior Tanner Owens and junior Isaiah Nichols. Both were chosen at forward.
Second team selections include five seniors, Sarah Hickson and Montana Stein at forward, Talon Ritter and Sean Cady at midfield and Noah Brierly at defender. Two freshmen, Clayton Cassell and Jadeon Huffman, were named Honorable Mention.
