Craig County residents reported snow accumulations up to 14 inches. While it made for an impossible trek over Catawba Mountain for most to get to work, it also created the most beautiful scenes one could imagine.Locals couldn’t get out but expressed just how much snow they had at their home. Some danced in the snow. Others prayed the snow away. “Well, I never thought I would have to get out the yardstick, but my poor 12-inch ruler is about to GO UNDER. LOL,” posted Faye Trivette on her Facebook page before Lisa Minnix added, “Heck, I started with a yardstick! Haha.”
