People were able to make a real manger from 2×4’s, and the kids seemed to have a wonderful time as adults helped them.

Lasterday Market recently hosted a winter fun day for all ages. Though the weather brought chilly winds that were preceding the huge snowfall about to hit, Mike and Melissa Beaudoin made sure that everyone had something to enjoy. They served fresh apple cider, Maddie’s coffee, hot chocolate and hosted a group selling soups to help them on their missionary trip to Guatemala. The store was set up with sales of home décor, jewelry, scarves, crocheted items and much more.

Santa arrived at 2 p.m. to talk with all the kids. Some adults even took advantage of his knee.

“We wanted this to be a fun day for everyone,” the Baudouin’s said. “The Lasterday Market will be open every Thursday, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., except for the week of Christmas, and we invite everyone to stop in.”

The Flour Bin is open to others who wish to market their products. It has a refrigerator, stove and freezer, but the water is currently cut off so that it doesn’t freeze the pipes. If anyone would like to consign their handmade products, they may contact Melissa Beaudoin on Facebook or by visiting www.lasterdaymarket.com. Shopping online is also an option.
