Craig County Public Schools is encouraging individuals with bachelor’s degrees or higher to consider careers in education and is offering guidance for those interested in becoming licensed teachers.
In a recent announcement, the school division said it is seeking people interested in making a difference in students’ lives, whether they are pursuing a career change or entering the education field for the first time. School officials said they are available to help prospective teachers navigate the licensing process.
The division described teaching as an opportunity to build relationships, make a lasting impact on students and help shape the future of the community.
Craig County Public Schools also has several positions available for the 2026-27 school year, including a special education teacher and a middle school math teacher.
Additional openings include a volunteer varsity and middle school volleyball coach, cafeteria substitutes, substitute teachers, substitute custodians, substitute bus and car drivers, car drivers and bus drivers.
