The high school basketball season is just around the corner and Craig County teams have begun practice under boys’ coach Ryan Frazier and girls’ coach Brock Jones.
At press time Craig athletic director Carrie Hutton was trying to set up a scrimmage for the boys. The Rockets were hoping to scrimmage at Faith Christian next Monday, November 20. The girls will scrimmage Auburn at Craig county on November 11.
The season opens the week after Christmas. The boys will open at home against the Boys’ Home team on November 27 and the girls will tip off their season at home on November 28.
