soon thereafter at the Craig County Courthouse, 182 Main Street, in New
Castle, Virginia, to consider the application of Mr. Gary Webb and Ms.
Tosha Dow, representing the Paint Bank restaurant, the Swinging Bridge,
for a “Conditional Use” permit. The conditional use permit will allow the
restaurant to hold live music events behind the Swinging Bridge
restaurant, on Friday or Saturday evenings, between the hours of 6-9
p-m, for 300 people. The concerts will be held from May to October with
one concert a month. This parcel is zoned B-1, Business District and is
located off 311, in Paint Bank, Virginia. Tax map# 19A-1-1, containing
4.602 acres, in the Potts Mountain magisterial district.
Public comment on the application may be submitted in writing to the
County Administration Office, P.O. Box 308, New Castle, Virginia 24127
before noon on August 18th, 2026 or by calling 540-864-5010, or in
person at the public hearing.
