THE CRAIG COUNTY COURTHOUSE LAWN CARE SERVICES
CRAIG COUNTY, VIRGINIA
The County of Craig, Virginia, will receive proposals for lawn care services
for the Craig County Courthouse property. These services would be from
April 2026 through October 2026. The county is seeking proposals that
include the following:
Lawn mowing – Mow the lawn around the courthouse as needed, no more
than once a week.
Trimming and edge work – Trim and edge sidewalks, fences, gazebo,
and buildings after each mowing.
Tree and shrub care – Regular tree and shrub maintenance. This service
includes pruning, fertilizing and treating pests or diseases.
Mulching – Mulch areas around fences, statue and courthouse.
Clean-up – Remove trash and tree limbs when mowing, haul away raked
grass, and prune debris.
Special Events – Ensure courthouse lawn is groomed for special events
including Memorial Day, 4th of July, and the Craig County Fall Festival (2nd
Saturday of October)

Submit Sealed Bid Proposals no later than Noon (12:00PM) on MONDAY,
JANUARY 5, 2026, to the County Administrator’s Office, 108 Court Street,
New Castle, Virginia 24127.
The Craig County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any, and
all proposals, including the lowest proposal, or to waive any informality in
the proposal process.
This proposal is in accordance with Section 2.2-4302.2 of the Code of
Virginia, Virginia Public Procurement Act.
