Craig County Public Schools announced Monday morning that all schools are closed Nov. 10 due to continued snowfall and worsening road conditions across the county.
The school division initially announced a two-hour delay early in the morning but later decided to close schools entirely after reassessing road conditions, particularly in the western part of the county.
“Due to continued snowfall and worsening road conditions, especially in the western part of the county, Craig County Public Schools will be closed today, November 10, 2025 (Employee Code 3),” the division said in a statement.
Officials said the decision was made out of caution for student and staff safety as snow accumulation made travel difficult on rural and secondary roads.
