The Craig County girls will host Eastern Montgomery in a Pioneer District volleyball game this Thursday night in New Castle. The girls opened their district schedule on Tuesday against Narrows but results were too late for publication.
The Rockets come into the week with a 2-5 non-district record. Last week they played host to North Cross and lost in four sets. Craig won the first set, 25-21, but lost the next three by scores of 25-13, 25-8 and 26-24. They also lost to Class 3 Staunton River last week in three sets.
Next week the girls will host Parry McCluer on Tuesday, then travel to Bath County on Thursday, September 25.
