Adam Murphy, a software developer, has officially launched his campaign for the Ninth Congressional District, which includes Craig County.
Murphy will face Rep. Morgan Griffith in the upcoming election.
“We are passionate about representing the people of Southwest Virginia and tackling the challenges we face every day as the American people,” Murphy said via email. “The system is rigged against the average American, and they aren’t upholding their end of the deal to everyday Americans. We aim to break that stranglehold and claim a new future, without compromise that firmly places the American people first.”

energy independence and massive infrastructure projects.”
