Craig County High seniors Layla Dooley and Jaycob Wolfe were among the Roanoke Valley student-athletes honored at the annual B’nai B’rith banquet at the Hotel Roanoke last week. The event honors two students, one male and one female, from Roanoke Valley area high schools who have excelled in athletics, academics and community service. Dooley and Wolfe were selected to represent Craig County at the banquet. Here Dooley(left) and Wolfe pose with their plaques with Craig County athletic director Carrie Hutton. Two overall winners are chosen, and this year those honors went to Sam Dowdy of Patrick Henry High and Addison Becker of Roanoke Catholic.
