Bridge Maintenance – Pulaski County
On-ramps to Route 100 (northbound and southbound) off I-81 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Friday mornings.

Widening: Exit 137 to Exit 141 – Roanoke County / Salem
$179M design-build project from MM 136.6 to 141.8 to widen I-81 to three lanes.
Two lanes remain open in both directions; expect nighttime closures.
Ramp closure at Exit 140: May 30–31 (8 p.m. – 8 a.m.).
Flagging, uneven pavement, and lane shifts expected.
Project includes bridge replacements, sound barriers, ramp improvements.
Completion: Early 2026.

Orange Avenue Off-Ramp Safety Improvements
Lane and shoulder closures on Route 460 (Orange Avenue) and the I-581 off-ramp.

Route 622 (Bradshaw Road) Culvert Replacement
Culvert work over Mason Creek, ~6.8 miles from Route 311.
One-lane alternating traffic controlled by temporary signal, 24/7.

Route 220/419 Diverging Diamond Interchange
Reconfiguration of the interchange and nearby intersections.
Completion: Fall 2028.
