The Craig County soccer team will take on Narrows next Monday, May 19, in the first round of the Pioneer District soccer tournament. The Rockets will be at Narrows with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 pm.
Craig hosted the Green Wave for “Senior Night” last week and dropped a 9-1 decision. Isaiah Nichols found the net for Craig’s first goal of the season and Jadeon Huffman and Caden Custer combined for 22 saves. Seniors recognized were Noah Brierly, Sean Cady, Sarah Hickson, Tanner Owens, Talon Ritter and Montana Stein.
On Friday the Rockets were in Covington to take on the Boys’ Home and fell by a 5-0 decision. With the two losses Craig fell to 0-6 on the season.
