The Craig County soccer team was scheduled to open their home season on Tuesday with a game against Eastern Montgomery. The Rockets come into the week at 0-2 after dropping a 6-0 decision at Narrows last week.
Craig fell behind 2-0 at the half at Narrows but stayed close as Jadeon Huffman made 14 saves in goal. Caden Custer was in the cage for the second half and had seven saves.
“We had seven attempts on goal with Isaiah Nichols having three of the attempts,” ‘said coach Crystal Hickson.
The Rockets will be back home next Monday, April 28, to host the Covington Boys’ Home.
