The Craig County 10U baseball team participated in the Roanoke Area Youth Baseball Association tournament at Green Hill Park from June 19-22. The tournament included teams from Craig County, Salem, Glenvar, Vinton and North Roanoke.
The Craig team was coached by Josh Ouellette, Drew Webb and George Donnelly. Glenvar won the tournament, defeating Salem in the final. Craig finished third in the tournament and the boys finished the season with an 8-3-1 overall record.
There were also tournaments for 8U, 12U and 15U teams but Craig County did not have teams entered. Glenvar also won the 8U and 12U and Franklin County won the 15U.
