Craig County junior Tyler Fitzpatrick was in midseason form last week at the Buffalo Invitational Track meet at Floyd County High School. Tyler qualified for the state Class 1 meet with a second place finish in the discus, tossing the disc 139’ 3” to finish second overall. Tyler was just five inches off the winning throw. Fitzpatrick also placed in the shot put with a heave of 37’8”.
