Harry Robert Kendall (Bob) Sr. born April 14, 1933, went to join his beloved wife Phyllis of 64 years and his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 28. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of New Castle and remained active until his health prevented his attendance.


He was preceded in death by parents; Floyd and Frances Kendall, stepmother; Alice Kendall, grandson; Isaac Kendall and brother; William (Bill) Kendall. He is survived by children; Janice Fridley and husband Robert, Barbara (Tiny) Fridley and husband David, Harry (Bo) Kendall and wife Brenda, Frances Kendall and Gary, Kenneth (Kenny) Kendall and Missy, Donna Old and husband Sam, Carol Owens and husband Barry, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, sisters; Florene  Watts, Nancy Midkiff and husband Junior, brother; Donald Kendall and wife Carolyn, brother; Danny Kendall and wife Betty, sister; Vicky Maxey and husband Eugene, sister; Mary Harris and husband Charles, brother; Jimmy Kendall and wife Debbie, brother; Teddy Kendall, brother Gene Kendall and wife Mary, sister; Ruth Britt and husband Mike, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, at First Baptist Church, New Castle. Funeral service was held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Altizer officiating. Interment followed at Crossroads Church Cemetery.
