NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Virginia Code § 15.2-1427, notice is hereby given that the
Craig County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on JULY
2nd, 2026, at 6 PM or soon thereafter in the Circuit Court Courtroom of
the Craig County Courthouse at 182 Main Street, New Castle, Virginia
24127.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment on
proposed amendments to Chapter 42, Sections 42-4 and 42-12 (Traffic
and Vehicles), of the Craig County Code to amend provisions relating
to failure to park in designated spaces and prohibiting parking on
sidewalks.
A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is on file for inspection
during normal business hours in the Office of the County Administrator
at 108 Court Street, New Castle, Virginia 24127. If you should need
auxiliary aids or other assistance due to a disability, please contact the
Office of the County Administrator at (540) 864-5010 at least five (5)
days in advance of the public hearing.
