Craig County Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for two flexible, part-time positions that support the division’s daily operations and upkeep of school facilities.

The school division is hiring substitute custodians to assist with maintaining clean and safe learning environments. The positions offer flexible, as-needed evening hours, making them a good fit for individuals seeking part-time work with a variable schedule. Responsibilities include general cleaning and custodial duties to ensure school buildings remain well-maintained for students and staff.

In addition, Craig County Public Schools is hiring seasonal, part time grounds and facilities workers. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to work independently. The role involves outdoor, hands on work to support the upkeep of school grounds and facilities. Like the custodial positions, these roles offer flexible, as-needed scheduling.

School officials say both opportunities provide a chance for community members to contribute directly to the school system while working in a supportive team environment.

Those interested in applying can visit the Craig County Public Schools website or contact Jessi Huffman at 540-864-5191 for more information.
