‘Tis the season and many are already enjoying events that started Dec. 1, giving them a kickoff for the holiday month.
Several churches are having specials, the new Farmers Market will be opening, and the community is invited to join in them all.
- Farmers Market on Main Street: Dec 9 and 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Vendors cost is $10 per date. Eight spots are available. Email [email protected]
- Santa in front of Studio Reflections (Inside Food Country): Dec 9, 9 a.m.–1 p.m. – Pictures with Santa – $5 – $10 picture packages. Plus a free goody bag from Santa. (See LivAlivePhotography for more information.)
- Santa at Lasterday Market: Dec 9 3 p.m.–5 p.m. – Enjoy a hot cup of cocoa and a cookie and a Christmas story while you wait to sit on Santas lap. Register on EventBrite. (See Craig County Library website for more information.)
- New Castle Christian Church: Dec 10 at 5:30 p.m. – meals for seniors with children’s program following at 7pm.
- Craig Valley Baptist Church: Dec 13 at 7 p.m. Bible Buddies Christmas program
- Crossroads Church: Dec 16 at 6:30 p.m. – Christmas play and
- Lighthouse Baptist Church: Dec 17 at 6 p.m. – Christmas play
- New Castle Christian Church: Dec 17 at 10 a.m. – Adult Choir Cantata
- Level Green Christian Church: Dec 17 at 6 p.m. – Candlelight Communion Service with desserts following
