Sandra Via Ledford, 74, of Oriskany, VA, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 31, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 16, 1949, to the late “Buddy” and “Dump” Via. Sandra was a kind soul, she loved to help those she came across. She loved her family with all her heart, being a: wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her greatest joy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Terry Via.
She is survived by her husband, Toby G. Ledford; daughters, Debbie Bartley and husband, Richard, and Angie Austin and husband, Perry Hale; grandchildren, Braden Bartley, Ashley Garrison (Anthony), Isaac Austin (Haley), Alicia Midkiff (Josh); great-grandchildren, A.J. Garrison, Josie Austin; special family friend, Anthony Austin.
A graveside service to celebrate her life was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at the Anderson Family Cemetery, with Pastor John Norris officiating.
