A homecoming event, including a potluck dinner, is set for Sunday, Aug. 20 at Old Salem Church. The meal starts at 1 p.m., with a service following. Those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring a dish and enjoy food and fellowship, reminisce about the annual ice cream suppers, weddings and other events, celebrating its 140th anniversary.
