Walls are going up at the reconstruction of the Holstein Cabin in New Castle. Builder Roger Davis is enjoying the sunshine as he measures and places logs estimated to be over 200 years old.
The cabin was re-gifted to the Craig County Historical Society by Explore Park and is expected to be completed in time for the 36th Fall Festival on October 13. The Society is planning a fundraiser dinner on Friday, July 27. For information call Mary Hutchison, 540-747-2255.
