For those who chose not to vote early, Election Day will finally arrive on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

All of the polling places in Craig County will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and anyone standing in line at 7 will be allowed to vote.

There are no state offices up for election this year, but all Craig County ballots will include the race for Senate between Democratic incumbent Mark Warner and Republican challenger Bert Mizusawa, and the 9th Congressional District race between Republican incumbent Morgan Griffith and Democratic challenger Joy Powers.

In New Castle, the mayor position and four seats on the town council are up for election. There is also a special election in the Craig Creek District for its vacated supervisor seat.

Craig County has eight polling locations spread throughout the jurisdiction. To find your polling place, call the registrar’s office at 540-864-6190, or go to elections.virginia.gov/casting-a-ballot/polling-place-lookup.
