The Craig County High School football team will host Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy this Friday night at 7 p.m. at Mitchell Field in the final tuneup for the 2026 season. The game will be a Benefit Game and played like a regular game with an admission charge.
Last Friday the Rockets scrimmaged James River and Rockbridge County High in Buchanan. The regular season starts on Friday, August 28, with a game at Galax.
