Two Craig County High School seniors were among the 41 nominees for this year’s B’nai B’rith Awards, with winners announced at a banquet June 15th at the Hotel Roanoke. The award recognizes senior athletes from Roanoke Valley schools judged on athletic achievement, scholarship and personal life. Craig nominees were Daileigh Donithan, who played volleyball, basketball and softball for the Rockets, and Carter Calfee, who played football and ran track. The overall winners were Elijah Thomas of William Fleming for the boys and Lydia Pratt of Radford for the girls.
