Craig County High School celebrated its Class of 2026 during a week of graduation events that honored students’ achievements and marked the culmination of their high school careers.

The festivities began May 18 with the Senior Awards and Baccalaureate Ceremony, where seniors were recognized for their academic accomplishments, extracurricular achievements and future plans. The event also provided an opportunity for students, families and faculty to reflect on the memories, friendships and experiences that shaped the graduates’ time at Craig County High School.

The celebration continued May 22 when Craig County High School held its commencement ceremony at the Berglund Center in Roanoke. Graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas as family members, friends and school staff gathered to recognize the Class of 2026.

School officials described the evening as a time of pride, reflection and celebration, highlighting the graduates’ hard work and accomplishments throughout their years in Craig County Public Schools. The ceremony also recognized the lasting impact members of the Class of 2026 have made on the school community as they prepare to pursue college, careers, military service and other opportunities after graduation.

The graduation ceremony marked the end of one chapter for the seniors and the beginning of new journeys as they move forward beyond high school.
