Four Senior 4-H Club members from Craig County High School spent Sept. 17-18 at Smith Mountain Lake 4-H Center for the Teen Summerfest at the lake.
Kelly Tyzinski, Claudia Bullard, Chris Peverall, and Micah Adkins participated in the 4-H event that included snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, a cruise on the Virginia Dare, and a tour of the Smith Mountain Lake Dam.
The evening programs were a Beach Luau, Dance, and a Campfire. There were 140 4-H teens from throughout central and southwest Virginia that participated in the event. Many new friends were made and old acquaintances renewed.
