The Craig County Planning Commission on May 19th, 2026 at 6 pm, or soon thereafter at
the Craig County Courthouse in New Castle, Virginia, to consider the application of Mr.
Curtis Steele, “Rezoning of Property”. The permit would allow Mr. Curtis Steele, rezone his
Agricultural property, (A-1) to Rural Residential (RR) for the construction of a residence
conforming to the requirements of zoning Rural Residential. This parcel is zoned A-1,
Agriculture, Limited District and is located at Miller Cove, Rt 620 New Castle, VA 24127, Tax
map #110-1-8. The property contains 2.5 acres and is located in the Craig Creek District in
Catawba, VA 24070 of Craig County. Property is off of Upper Craigs Creek, just past
Creekside Ln, coming from New Castle.

the public hearing.
