Craig County Public Schools announced it will be closed Monday, March 16 due to concerns about forecasted weather conditions.
School officials said the closure was made “out of an abundance of caution” because of the unpredictability of the day’s weather forecast. The decision followed consultations with the National Weather Service and local emergency management officials.
The closure will be observed under Employee Code 1, according to the school division.
No additional information was immediately released about when a make up day might be scheduled.
