A hiring event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, at Craig County High School, 25239 Craig Creek Road in New Castle.
The event will be open to students from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and to the public from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Organizers say the event will give job seekers an opportunity to bring resumes and meet with approximately 15 to 20 businesses that are looking to hire. The event is intended to help participants explore employment opportunities and consider new career paths.
The hiring event is organized by the Greater Roanoke Workforce Development Board.
