From the January 12, 1994 edition of The New Castle Record
The fifth Grade 4-H Club of Mrs. Fisher at McCleary Elementary School recently made a donation to the Craig County Historical Society.
The donation was made to assist with the renovation of the Old Hotel in New Castle. The club had chosen this as their community project at the beginning of the year.
The donation of $80 was made to Wanda Lee, representing the historical Society. The club raised the money by using a change jar in their room.
We would like to commend the 4-H’ers for their fine work in supporting this community project.
