NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,
By the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery, Virginia that the Board of Supervisors intent to consider a proposed Ordinance Establishing a Separate Classification for Tangible Personal Property Taxation for Motor Vehicles Owned or Leased by Certain Members of a Volunteer Rescue Squad or Volunteer Fire Department in the County of Montgomery, Virginia, at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 7:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter at the Montgomery County Government Center, 2nd Floor Board Room, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for inspection and/or copying in the County Administrator’s suite in the County Government Center Monday through Friday from 8:30 5:00 pm.
