Craig County Public Schools is asking students, families, staff and community members to weigh in on possible changes to the high school schedule for the 2025-26 school year.
In a Nov. 18 letter, Superintendent Jason Wheeler said the division is beginning to evaluate its current schedule and wants broad input before considering any adjustments.
Wheeler said the goal is to understand what aspects of the current model are working and where improvements could be made. Community feedback, he noted, will help ensure any future schedule supports strong instruction, smooth course sequencing and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
“The information collected will be used to guide future discussions, identify priorities, and support thoughtful, student-centered decision making,” Wheeler wrote. He emphasized that no final decisions have been made and that the survey is the first step in the process.
The Craig County High School Scheduling Survey is open to all members of the school community and may be shared freely. It will remain available through Dec. 19.
