Craig County Public Schools has named veteran educator Stacey Crowder as its October Employee of the Month, recognizing her dedication, professionalism and consistent commitment to the division’s core values.

Crowder, a longtime member of the school division, is widely admired by students, colleagues and families. School officials said she exemplifies excellence, integrity, collaboration and accountability in her daily work.

Known for her positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed, Crowder “goes above and beyond” to support the school community, the division said. In addition to her work in the classroom, she volunteers her time with Booster Club concessions and regularly steps in to support school programs and activities.

Division leaders said Crowder’s impact is felt throughout the schools, noting that her initiative and solution-focused approach make a lasting difference.

Craig County Public Schools expressed gratitude for her service, stating that her contributions “embody the very best of CCPS.”

Crowder will be recognized during upcoming division activities.
