In New Castle, Paitsel Funeral Home is under renovation currently. The new manager, Jonathan Stilwell, has invited all the ministers of the area to come and add their favorite scripture to the building by painting them on the walls then blessing the building and families it will serve in prayer.
Ministers from area churches gathered for this and to practice as “The Singing Preachers” as they will be presenting their musical talents at the upcoming Craig Community Thanksgiving Service, to be held at Craig Valley Baptist Church on Sunday evening, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. Community members are asked to bring a no-perishable food item for the Craig Valley Baptist food pantry. An offering will be taken for the emergency ministry of the Craig County Ministers Association.
