Craig County Public Schools has recognized Dave Dunstan as its September Employee of the Month.

The Employee of the Month program highlights staff who demonstrate dedication, professionalism and a positive impact on the school community. Employees are nominated by colleagues who believe their work reflects the district’s core values of excellence, accountability, collaboration and integrity.

Dunstan, a recent addition to the CCPS team, has already made a strong impression, according to school officials. His leadership, professionalism and commitment to students and staff have stood out in his short time with the division.

“Whether supporting instruction, mentoring students or ensuring smooth daily operations, Mr. Dunstan exemplifies the values of excellence, integrity and dedication that define our district,” CCPS said in a statement.

School leaders also noted his approachable nature, presence at school events and efforts to build a positive and supportive culture.

“His hard work and unwavering commitment to our mission are greatly appreciated and do not go unnoticed,” the statement said. “We are proud to have him as an integral member of our team.”
