Tommy and Rhonda Zimmerman of Main Street were awarded $50 by Town council for their first place in the annual Christmas decoration contest. The Zimmermans used all clear lights around the outside of their house with two lighted spiral Christmas trees and a deer in the yard also done in clear lights.
The second-place prize of $25 went to Myron and Opal Caldwell of Mitchell Drive who used swags of clear lights on the outside of their house, clear candles in the windows and a green Christmas wreath of the front door. An inflated Pooh Bear commanded the front yard. Third place for $15 went to Fudd and Karen Crush of Walnut Street and their two children calin and Kelsey. The Crushes also adorned the outside of their house with clear icicle lights, candles int eh windows and big green wreaths with red bows hung on the outside of each window.
