IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT RIVERSTREET
TELEPHONE SERVICE LIFELINE PROGRAM
The Federal Communications Commission requires RiverStreet to provide certain
information to its customers on an annual basis. The information in this notice may
change in the future. Customers receiving service as part of a commercial account,
bulk rate or similar arrangement may be subject to separate policies or procedures.
Local Telephone Service and Lifeline Program
The federal Universal Service Fund (USF) is money collected from
telecommunications companies dedicated to fulfilling the goals of universal
service. The Universal Service Fund was created by the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) and established by law in 1934 to provide access to a baseline
level of telecommunications services for all consumers in the United States. At
RiverStreet, the base rate for local phone service is $9.09. Broadband services
are included in the Universal Service Fund with costs starting at $30* per month.
Internet rates and speeds may vary depending on availability.
RiverStreet participates in the Lifeline government benefit program. This is a
government benefit that offers a discount for eligible low-income customers who
have residential voice or broadband services. Qualified lifeline customers can
receive a federal monthly support of $9.25 for broadband service or $5.25 for phone
only service.
For more information about our products and services, please call our customer
service number at 844-238-0131 or visit myriverstreet.net. Consumers may also
visit www.fcc.gov or www.usac.org. All services and programs may not be available
