Pursuant to Virginia Code § 15.2-1427, notice is hereby given that the
Craig County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on August
7th, 2025, at 6 PM or soon thereafter in the Circuit Court Courtroom of
the Craig County Courthouse at 303 Main Street, New Castle, Virginia
24127.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment on
the proposed amendment to Chapter 42, Section 42-7 (Tra c and
Vehicles), of the Craig County Code to provide that the Treasurer shall
certify contested parking tickets to the issuing law enforcement o cer
for further proceedings.
A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is on le for inspection
during normal business hours in the O ce of the County Administrator
at 108 Court Street, New Castle, Virginia 24127. If you should need
