Craig Valley Baptist Church, located at 171 Salem Ave in New Castle, is hosting a new Vacation Bible School this year. Called Wonder Junction, it will carry the VBS students to the Old West to learn the stories of God’s love and the story of Jesus. The program is a creation of Answers in Genesis, creators of the full size Noah’s Ark and the Creation Museum in Kentucky.
The dates are Sunday, July 13 – Thursday, July 17 from 6–8:30 p.m., with a Family night and special presentation on Friday, July 18. Each evening begins with a dinner for the children at 6 p.m.
This year’s VBS program is an exciting structured program for ages – 5th grade, including Bible lessons and stories, traditional and contemporary songs, crafts, science and even a mission project to help hungry children.
This year a special needs class will be offered for children 12 and above.
