Sally Cranwell, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and nurse, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025. She was born in 1941 in Omaha, Nebraska, and was lovingly adopted by William and Alyce Gaer. Sally dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her profession as a registered nurse and in her unwavering love for her family.
She was the beloved mother of Mark Karuzis and Theresa Morris. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Karuzis and granddaughter Hope Karuzis . She was the cherished grandmother of Koby and Kristen Karuzis, and, Lukas and Grace Morris. She was the great grandmother of Salem and Mavis Terrette.
Sally shared her life with her husband, Peter Cranwell, and together they built a home filled with love and warmth.
Sally will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and compassion. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the care she provided, and the love she shared.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in her memory.
