Green, Penny Sue, 73 of New Castle, went to be with the Lord, Thursday morning. She was born on December 19, 1951, to the late Fulton Eugene and Lucy Greenway.
She is survived by her son, Chris Lafon; grandsons, Timothy Lafon & Julia, Dustin Snider & Tessa, Christopher “Bubby” Lafon; and granddaughters, Alexxa Forrester, and Addy; great-grandson, Jaxon; four sisters, Linda Huffman, Pamela Looney, Wendy Jones, and Lisa Bradley; two brothers, Fulton E. Greenway, Jr. and James Greenway; numerous nieces and nephews.
She worked at Catawba Hospital, serving others for 35+ years. She was married for 26 years.
Penny had a heart of gold and left an impression on everyone she met in life.
