The All-Pioneer District basketball teams have been announced now that all teams in the district have been eliminated from post-season play. Craig County has players represented on both the girls’ and boys’ all-district teams.

Karsyn Reed of Narrows was named Pioneer District Player of the Year and Green Wave coach Brad Sutphin was named Coach of the Year. Narrows sophomore Kailyn Jones, who played for Craig County as a freshman, was named to the eight-girl first team and received the second most votes in the district.

For the boys’ all-district team Craig County seniors Jaycob Wolfe and Tallon Ritter were both named Honorable Mention. Langston Cook, a sophomore guard from Parry McCluer, was named district Player of the Year and Blues coach Tyler Kerr was named Pioneer District Coach of the Year.
