The Craig County Sheri ’s Department hereby gives notice
to the owners or claimants of a 1–2-year-old black angus
bovine that was found in or around 5237 Johns Creek Road,
New Castle, VA 24127 on December 14th, 2024. A court
date of January 7th, 2024 at 9:00 am at the Craig
County Courthouse, 182 Main Steet, New Castle, Va 24127
as authorized by the Code of Virginia § 3.2-6569. Seizure
and impoundment of animals; notice and hearing;
disposition of animal; disposition of proceeds upon sale.
The above-described livestock will, unless redeemed before
January 7th, 2024, will be o ered positive placement.
