NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to Virginia Code § 15.2-1427, notice is hereby
given that the Craig County Board of Supervisors will hold a
public hearing on September 5th, 2024 at 6 PM, or soon
thereafter, in the Circuit Court Courtroom of the Craig
County Courthouse at 303 Main Street, New Castle, Virginia
24127.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public
comment on the proposed adoption of an ordinance adding
a new Article V – Food Booths to Chapter 10 – Businesses
of the Craig County Code to exempt certain food booths at
fairs from the provisions of Title 35.1 of the Virginia Code
relating to state regulation of restaurants and instead having
them subject to regulation by the county health officer.
A copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is on file for
inspection during normal business hours in the Office of the
County Administrator at 108 Court Street, New Castle,
Virginia 24127. If you should need auxiliary aids or other
