Spring break is over and the Craig County High School sports teams are scheduled to be back in action this week.
Rocket teams were hoping to return to action Tuesday, although rain was in the forecast at press time. The baseball and softball teams were scheduled to be home to host Narrows while the jayvee softball and varsity soccer teams were to play at Narrows on Tuesday.
On Wednesday the track team is scheduled to hit the oval for the first time with a meet at Giles, then the baseb
all and softball teams are back home for games on Thursday against Giles at 5 pm. The jayvee softball team will be at Giles Thursday.
On Friday the Rockets will have their first home soccer game, with Buffalo Gap providing the opposition in a 6 pm start.
Next Tuesday, April 9th, three Craig teams will take on Eastern Montgomery. The baseball and softball teams will be home to East Mont while the soccer team will head to Elliston for a 5:30 pm start.
